I thought it would be an awesome idea to let my students tell you my story of being a trainer,
teacher, and rider.

"Kevin's training and conditioning has given my horse a substantial increase in balance and topline. His experience and knowledge
has been invaluable. He has taken my horse to a level I never thought possible with conventional training."

"My daughter and I own a boarding/lesson business. Lessons are taught by my daughter and she
mostly teaches beginners. We met Kevin, and Dominique started taking lessons from him,
feeling she was lacking the experience to teach students who were advancing and to better her own riding..
With Kevin's instruction and coaching Dominique has made great improvement and is now relaying
this knowledge to her students. His flat work is very solid and thorough and he is now also teaching one
of our (dressage) boarders. The goal for this person is to have her relax and it seems to work,
since Kevin's approach is very clear and calm, with concern for both rider and horse."

In the show ring:
"Kevin gives me a good deal of support at my shows.  Even though I’m still working on the local circuit,
I have goals for a C show by year end, and even an A show.  After a good warm-up, we discuss the course,
and a plan of action which helps me should I run into anything unexpected (like loosing a stirrup on my
first 2’ 9” course in almost 2 years).  There is also the advantage of having my classes taped so I can watch
with him to learn what I can improve on."

In the school ring:
"Kevin puts a great deal of focus on flat work not only to improve my balance, but to help build up my horse’s
muscle mass.  Dropping the stirrup 2 - 3 inches gives me a much better seat and stretches and develops my
leg muscles to keep me more balanced.  It’s really apparent when I bring up my stirrups and start jumping.
With Kevin’s help, my horse is much more balanced and is now jumping 3’ 3”.  Pretty good for 19 years old."

"Kevin is an exceptional horseman and a responsive instructor who perfectly balances a pleasurable riding experience with
solid instruction, always putting the horse first. I was about to give up on dressage altogether, as my pony wasn’t happy
and neither was I.  With Kevin’s encouragement and instruction, my faith in the equine way of life was revived. I have found
that my riding has progressed across multiple dimensions and I feel the most confident I have ever felt in my life, both in
and out of the saddle. Kevin not only fixed my seat, my arms, my legs and my back, but most of all he also fixed my mindset
and my pony. Instead of making life hard for the horses, I now feel that I can help them. My pony is happier and for the
first time in three years, we are starting to work as a harmonious team. Kevin has a wonderful eye for the rider’s seat
and position and is amazing at communicating what he sees so that the rider can improve."

"Kevin packs so much information into each session that I always leave with the feeling that I got so much more than
my money’s worth. He tailors his instruction style to each student. I am a visual learner and Kevin always has an antidote
or idea to give me a visual concept of each task he teaches me. He also constantly moves about with the student, guiding
them through whatever skill they are trying to master. Since the jumper style is very new to me, I like to ask a lot of
questions, so this makes it easy for me to do so. Kevin never makes me feel nervous, I was at ease from the first lesson
I took with him. He critiques in a way that feels positive, as if you and he are a team. He is excellent in praising his
students every time they make even the smallest improvement."

"It is really Kevin’s unique skill, talent and his humor that help the rider (and the horse!) to understand, feel and correct their
position which makes the goal of riding well attainable, and learning a joy. He has a quiet, effective, and very encouraging
way of helping you feel what you are doing (or not doing), and then helping you to not only correct it, but to understand
and maintain a correct position."

"I recommend Kevin to anyone who is serious about improving their riding skills, or is looking for someone to work with
their sensitive horses. Don’t worry; Kevin is also skilled at working with sensitive riders! He possesses all the qualities
of a superb instructor, especially for the more experienced riders."
